Events Area of Moriolo
The events area is housed in the ex former cellars of the Villa, where large stone vats once resided from which an excellent “Rosso di Moriolo” was made. The main room features a beautifully restored brick vault and characteristic brick/stone/lime walls which, combined with soft lighting, create a unique atmosphere. This area is completed by the three halls, connected by a central arched corridor and characterised by typical ceilings with interlocking bricks vaults forming patterns that vary between the different rows. The main room can accommodate about 20/25 guests and the other rooms 40.
Our cuisine
Our family-run cuisine is characterised by simple dishes and flavours linked to the territory and Tuscan tradition, handed down from generation to generation and using only products from our farm and the regional short supply chain. Here are some of the dishes in which we make the difference:
- Tagliatelle with meat sauce
- Tagliolini with truffle
- Bread soup
- Pappa with tomato sauce
- Florentine crepes
- Florentine steak
- Suckling pig in crust
- Florentine tripe
Events
We are able to cater for any type of event: birthday parties, graduation parties, company dinners, baptisms, communions, weddings or a simple dinner with friends. We work only by reservation with a fixed menu to be agreed in advance. Contact us for more info.
