Description

A short flight of stairs leads to the Villa’s most distinctive space, the old “attic”. Under the recently restored ceiling of exposed beams, rafters and bricks, a huge open space houses two double beds, a single bed and two bathrooms: ideal accommodation for large families. The fully equipped kitchen has been handmade by local craftsmen. The sink is made from a single block of Carrara marble that matches the colour of the wooden pantry, adding a typically warm atmosphere to the living space.

The ceilings are characterised by traditional 19th century wooden beams and the walls have original exposed bricks, recently recovered through careful restoration work. The floor is composed of handmade terracotta tiles in the Florentine tradition, which together with the ceiling and walls gives an added value and an “antique” flavour to the structure.
